On 27 November 2022, the handover ceremony of Ramakrishna Mission Sahudangi was celebrated in the Ashrama premises, wherin it was formally established as a new branch centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math.

A formal meeting was convened in the main temple, which was presided over by Swami Bodhasarananda Ji, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Other speakers in this meeting were Swami Nareshananda and Swami Mahatapananda, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Darjeeling.

Swami Purneshwarananda, Swami Binoyananda, Swami Jibanananda, Swami Vikramananda and Br. Sharvachaitanya, were also present in the meeting. More than 700 devotees from Siliguri and other parts of North Bengal took part in this meeting.

The meeting was covered by media channels and prominent newspapers.
