The Annual Celebration of Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Deva was celebrated in a grand manner and with great enthusiasm at Ramakrishna Mission, Sahudangi, Siliguri on 07th of April, 2024. The programme started with inaugural songs by Swami Jibanananda Ji Maharaj. Afterwards Special Puja was conducted in rememberance of Srimat Swami Smarananandaji’s Mahasamadhi, President, Ramakrishna Math and Mission. Swami Nareshananda Ji Maharaj narrated the life history of the Revered President Smaranananda ji.

The ‘Dharma Sabha’ which was convened on the occasion was started with Vedic Chanting by Ashrama Hostelites and Swami Shivadhisananda Ji Maharaj. Swami Nareshananda Ji welcomed all the guests with his inaugural speech and formal felicitation. Swami Jnanalokananda Ji Maharaj rendered his speech on "Role Of Sri Sri Maa in the Ramakrishna Movement". Various cultural programs by monks as well as reknowned local artists were staged throughout the day. The Dharma Sabha ended with formal concluding sppech and vote of thanks by Swami Binayananda Ji Maharaj.

More than 55,000 people from Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Coochbehar and other parts of North Bengal attended the function. Mahaprasad was distributed throughout the day among devotees on the occasion.
